What is MyID?
MyID is a medical profile which can be accessed anywhere, anytime using medical id bracelets, sticker kits, wallet cards and an app on your phone. It can be used to manage your medical information, save your life in an emergency, or clearly communicate important information to a health care provider.
Is my medical information safe and secure?
Your security is one of MyID’s top priorities. We leverage AWS by Amazon to make sure your data is safe and sound. We have also put several security measures in place to keep your data safe, which include the following:
• FirewallsThese network security systems help block unauthorized access.
• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) EncryptionThis encryption protects your information from being intercepted by creating a secure connection with your browser when you log in, enter information, and literally every interaction you make on our site.
• Automatic Logout We automatically log you out of your secure browser session after a period of inactivity to help protect you against others accessing your information.
On top of this, we perform regular "pen tests", which are designed to find vulnerabilities that an attacker could exploit.
How do I link a MyID medical bracelet or other product to my Profile?
1 Locate your unique ID and PIN on your MyID Product.
2 Log into your account using the email you used when creating your account.
3 Click on Link Product underneath your name and enter your ID and PIN.
How many MyID products can I link to my profile?
There is no limit. Feel free to link 10 medical ID bracelets, 5 sticker kits, and a wallet card all to one profile. Once you make an update to that profile, all your linked products are updated instantaneously. Oh, that's nice!
What happens if I lose my medical ID bracelet?
No worries, simply log into your account and click Manage Linked Products to unlink it. If you end up finding your medical ID under the couch, simply link it back to your profile.
Are MyID Profiles free?
Yes! MyID Profiles are free for life with the option to add Plus features.
What do I get with MyID Plus?
For $1.99/month or $19.99/year, your Plus subscription unlocks powerful features including Additional Categories, Pill Reminders, Documents, Sharing, and GPS text alerts when your medical ID is scanned. Learn more
How many profiles can I have on my account?
As many as your heart desires. That's a lot! However, we do monitor abuse, so play nice :)
Do you guys have an app?
Yes, we have a free app for iOS and Android. Our app makes it even easier to have your medical information right at your fingertips.
What's a QR Code?
QR stands for Quick Response and is sort of like a barcode. You may have seen them on advertisements or even on your bananas! They essentially connect the physical world with the digital world. They can store data and are scannable by any smartphone, which we think is perfect for something as complex as a medical profile. All of our medical ID bracelets, stickers, wallet cards, and sleeves have one.
What's the difference between the MyID Slider and the MyID Condition Sleeve?
These two products are sometimes confused. The MyID Sliders fit only on our MyID Sport & MyID Hive bracelets. These are made of metal, they can be customized, they have no QR code, and are not meant for watch bands. The MyID Condition Sleeve is made of silicone and slides onto watch bands that are 22mm wide or less. There is no QR code on them, but they have easily visible text.
Are custom products refundable?
No, custom engraved products are not eligible for refund. Please make sure to double check your custom text before submitting your order. If there is a manufacturing error on our side, we will cover the costs to make it right.
