Thousands of Flags on Display for MS Awareness Week

June 27, 2017

Staff and volunteers with the Multiple Sclerosis Society put up thousands of flags in the parking strip north of the Salt Lake City-County Building on Monday. They put up 5,000 orange flags in clusters of 300, with one white flag in the center to represent the 1 in 300 people in Utah who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This is part of MS Awareness week, which is March 2-8.
