MyID allows you to store your entire medical profile such as emergency contacts, vital conditions, medical images, labs, allergies, medications, blood type, organ donor and many more. You can link 1 or more bracelets to your MyID Profile—update your profile once and its updated across all your bracelets.
When you buy one of our products, you get a free online profile that can be accessed right from the product itself. You can quickly manage your MyID Profiles straight from the MyID App. Scan a QR code, call a phone number, or visit getmyid.com to see your public profile. You choose what you want to show on your public profile. For example, you'll want to include that you're a diabetic on your public profile in case of an emergency, but for something like a picture of your driver's license, you can keep that only accessible to you while you're using the app.
The online profile can be useful for anyone, even if you don't have an allergy or medical condition that would need attention in an emergency. You can add emergency contacts to your profile so they can be contacted if anything were to happen to you. Use your profile to make doctors appointments a breeze by avoiding having to fumble through your pockets or purse looking for cards & papers. Why not just have it all in one place nice and organized? MyID makes it easy to have a snapshot of your health records and history.
For $1.99/month or $19.99/year, you can receive our Plus subscription which unlocks powerful features including Pill Reminders, Documents, Sharing, and the ability to notify your emergency contacts at the tap of a button.
✓ Manage your health records and medical information.
✓ Add a dependent profile, which is great for parents & caretakers.
✓ Choose what information to show on your public profile.
✓ Free download on either iOS or Android devices.
What if EMS doesn't have a QR code scanner?
One thing to note is that iPhones that have iOS 11 or later can scan a QR code with the native iPhone camera. No extra app download is needed, but even if there was no ability to scan the QR code, they still have two other options. They can call the phone number (24/7) or visit getmyid.com to view your profile.
What's the difference between a MyID profile and Apple's medical ID feature?
Apple's medical ID feature is great and we think you can't be too safe when it comes to emergency preparedness. Having both is actually a good idea, but there are differences between the two.
Our profile is more robust and allows for the storage of documents. You also run the risk of your Apple device not having any battery or being damaged during an accident. Your MyID product is always on your wrist. Apple products are way more expensive and not everybody has them. A MyID product is much more affordable and the profile has more to offer.
What happens if I lose my medical ID bracelet?
No worries, simply log into your account and click Manage Linked Products to unlink it. Once it's unlinked, your profile is no longer accessible from that lost product. If you end up finding your medical ID under the couch, simply link it back to your profile. If you don't end up finding it you can easily link any new product to your existing profile.
Is my medical information safe and secure?
Your security is one of MyID’s top priorities. We leverage AWS by Amazon to make sure your data is safe and sound. We have also put several security measures in place to keep your data safe, which include the following:
• Firewalls. These network security systems help block unauthorized access.
• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption. This encryption protects your information from being intercepted by creating a secure connection with your browser when you log in, enter information, and literally every interaction you make on our site.
• Automatic Logout. We automatically log you out of your secure browser session after a period of inactivity to help protect you against others accessing your information.
On top of this, we perform regular "pen tests", which are designed to find vulnerabilities that an attacker could exploit.
Are MyID Profiles free?
Yes! MyID Profiles are free for life with the option to add Plus features.
What's a QR Code?
QR stands for Quick Response and is sort of like a barcode. You may have seen them on advertisements or even on your bananas! They essentially connect the physical world with the digital world. They can store data and are scannable by any smartphone, which we think is perfect for something as complex as a medical profile. All of our medical ID bracelets, stickers, wallet cards, and sleeves have one.

Tracy,
When your MyID is scanned, the person who is viewing your profile has the ability to translate your profile to these languages: English (Default), Spanish, French, Dutch, Russian.

If you are in another country that speaks a language other than English is there anything in place that will allow them to access my information in their language? For example, I am planning a trip to Korea next year. If I was rendered unconscious would myid be of any help to the emergency personnel? Thank you!!

Quick question- I downloaded the myID app- when I got to the page where you have to set up your profile and link the bracelet I scanned the qsr- it automatically entered in the IID and the pin – when I hit submit – an error notice shoots up and says Params are missing and won’t allow me to go any further? Can you tell me what this means or how to fix it ? Thanks so much!
