The MyID Pod is designed to fit a wide variety of products from bracelets to necklaces to keychains. It's made from a single piece of anodized aluminum and the information is laser engraved to ensure maximum durability and legibility.
If I order just the Pod can I put it on a chain or do I need to order the necklace you offer in the marketplace?
We designed it to be placed anywhre and everywhere! We offer up some products that we feel work well with it, but we also are excited to see the creativew ways our customers use the MyID Pod.
I make Jewelry. Can one buy the frame the Pod fits into if one wanted to make their own necklace or bracelet?

How do I customize the pod?

If I order a custom pod so I can include some inscribed text with my health conditions, do I still see the star of life on the top of the pod or the QR code on the back of the pod?
If you order a custom MyID Pod you will still see the side with the QR code also, but you will not see the side with the star of life and the MyID logo. If you would like to have a star of life on your MyID bracelet and order a custom MyID Pod then also purchase a Hive band which has the star of life on it.
Is the MyID Pod a standalone product?
No, you will want to also purchase a MyID Hive or a product on the MyID Marketplace. The MyID Pod fits into a number of different accessories which we hope fit your lifestyle. If you would like us to build something to hold the MyID Pod that isn't on the website, shoot us an email and we'll have it built.
How do I link my Pod to my iPhone app?
You can manage your profile either through our website (getmyid.com), or through our Android/iPhone app. It sounds like you are using our iPhone app. Once you are logged in, tap on your profile and you'll see an option at the bottom that says "Link Product". If the iPhone asks to use your camera, please allow it. Then all you'll need to do is point the camera at the QR code and it will link it. If the camera, isn't working, then you need to go to your iPhone settings and give MyID App access to use the camera. You can also click manually enter at which point you will manually put in the ID and PIN found on the product itself.
